CRDB Bank PLC is looking for a suitable person to fill a vacant position of Senior Manager; Business Processes Management (SM BPM) in the Department of Business Transformation at the Head Office, in Dar es Salaam. Job Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation, SM; BPM is responsible to evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor and control business processes and other company flow management. The role goes further to ensure that processes outcomes are in harmony with an organization’s strategic goals by introducing innovation into the processes that can impact results on service and operations to enhance profitability. Key responsibilities: ● Provide strategic leadership and clear direction to the BPM team in line with the continuous Improvement strategy ● Drive and reinforce implementation of strategic process improvement initiatives to achieve lean and business goals ● Assist management in driving the vision, core programs and tools needed to create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization ● Serve as a change advocate and implement new and innovative improvement tools and methodologies while utilizing lean/six sigma principles ● Continuous coaching to ensure the team is consistently and proactively delivering lean and high-quality processes ● Establish critical success factors (CSF) and associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to process performance ● Lead and collaborate cross-functional teams’ relationship to ensure holistic objectives of the bank are achieved ● Implement suitable performance management model in accordance to bank’s values to drive performance culture ● Grow and develop people to create future leaders, retention and support department succession plan ● Provide resources to lead the process work stream in various projects, supervise their work and manage the quality of process related project deliverables ● Conduct regular reviews of the business process management framework and drive its continuous embedment across the organization.
Attributes: ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ● Ability to work in agile environment ● Leadership skills ● Understanding and experience in applying Outside In, Lean, and/or Six Sigma tools or other process improvement methods with a track record of successful projects ● Demonstrated experience on project teams throughout the life cycle of process improvement and reengineering efforts. Strong project management skills (PRINCE 2® preferred) and experience in leading cross-functional teams ● Change management. Qualifications and Experience ● Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business administration, Banking, Finance or a related field preferred ● Certified Outside In, Lean Six Sigma Practitioner – Green Belt / Black Belt / Master Black Belt certification preferred ● 5 years in managerial positions with at least 3 years of organizational change experience ● Experience working with business processing models, Process Design, Business Analysis, Requirements Management and Project Management.
